OSRAM PURITEC HNS designed germicidal lamps for a wide range of applications
They are low-pressure lamps that emit mercury line radiation mainly in the short-wave ultraviolet range promising eco-friendly alternatives to chemical purification processes
UV-C radiation has a photolytic effect on DNA, micro-organisms such as bacteria, moulds, yeasts and virus cannot replicate. The maximum purification effect is obtained at 260 nm (nanometer) of wavelenght. OSRAM HNS germicidal lamps emit light at 254 nm, about 85% of maximum effectiveness, and are ozone-free.
This gives the radiation a cell-destroying effect that is ideal for highly effective purification of water, air and surfaces and eliminates the need for chemical products.
Products range and Installation Case
They are available in two model to satisfy different installation requirements:
AirZing PRO 5030 as T5 Tube with 30W and 1’058 mm of lenght
AirZing PRO 5040 as T8 Tube with 36W and 1’363 mm of lenght
Both are supported by 3 years warranty and 9’000 Life Time hours
AirZing PRO installation at 3 meters in height will perform a complete purification cycle in 60 minutes on a surface of 15-20 sqm.
Less proportional time is required for minor surfaces.
More directly proportional devices are required for major surfaces of 20 sqm.
